At World of Perfumes UK, we aim to dispatch orders quickly and keep delivery costs as affordable as possible for our customers. We absorb most of the actual shipping cost on premium services wherever we can, so you still receive a competitive and fair delivery price.

Order Processing

  • Orders are usually processed within 1-2 business days.

  • Orders placed after our daily cut-off may be processed the next business day.

  • Orders are not processed on weekends or UK public holidays.

  • During busy periods, promotions, launches or seasonal demand, processing may take longer.

  • In some cases, we may need to verify address details, payment, stock availability or age-sensitive fragrance orders before dispatch.

Free Delivery

  • Free UK delivery on orders over £50* (excludes orders with promotion codes used)

  • Free delivery is sent via Royal Mail Tracked 48

  • Estimated delivery time: 2 to 4 working days after dispatch

UK Express Delivery

We offer express delivery options for customers who want their order sooner:

  • Royal Mail Tracked 24 / Express

    • Estimated delivery: 1 to 2 working days after dispatch

    • Available at checkout where eligible

      • Royal Mail Tracked 48 

        • Estimated delivery: 2 to 4 working days after dispatch

        • Available at checkout where eligible


       

  • DPD Next Day / Priority

    • Estimated delivery: 1 to 2 working days in eligible areas

    • Availability depends on postcode, parcel type and order cut-off time

  • UPS Express / Priority

    • Estimated delivery: 1 to 2 working days

    • May be offered for selected orders, higher-value parcels or business addresses

Carriers We Use

We may use the following carriers depending on the order and destination:

The carrier used will depend on parcel size, destination, product restrictions and the delivery service selected at checkout.

Delivery Areas

  • UK Mainland delivery is available on most orders.

  • Northern Ireland, Highlands and Islands may have longer delivery times.

  • Republic of Ireland
  • Some express services may not be available for all locations.

  • Delivery times are estimates only and may be affected by courier delays, weather, customs checks or other events outside our control.

International Shipping

We offer delivery to the Republic of Ireland only.

We do offer international shipping on selected orders, subject to courier and product restrictions.

Please note:

  • International delivery charges are shown at checkout where available.

  • Duties, taxes, customs charges and import fees are not included unless stated otherwise.

  • These fees are the responsibility of the customer.

  • Some fragrance and beauty products may be restricted, prohibited or limited in certain countries.

  • We may be unable to ship perfumes, aftershaves, aerosols, alcohol-based products or other dangerous goods to some destinations.

  • If an order cannot be shipped due to destination restrictions or courier rules, we may cancel and refund it.

Pre‑Orders

We aim to dispatch pre‑order requests as soon as stock becomes available.

  • We aim to dispatch pre‑order items within 30 working days from the date the order is placed.

  • If this timeline is not suitable for you, you may request to cancel the pre‑order before it is dispatched.

  • To cancel, please contact us at hello@woperfumes.com with your order number and confirmation that you no longer wish to proceed with the pre‑order.

  • Once the pre‑order is cancelled, any payment will be refunded.

  • Refunds for cancelled pre‑orders usually take 3–5 working days to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.

We will keep you updated by email if there are any delays or changes to the expected dispatch date.

Perfume and Restricted Goods

Because many of our products contain alcohol or are classed as flammable or restricted items, shipping may be limited by courier and country rules.

This means:

  • Some items may only be sent by certain services.

  • Some international destinations may not accept perfumes or aerosols.

  • Delivery times may be longer for restricted items.

  • We reserve the right to remove or cancel restricted items from an order if they cannot be shipped safely or legally.

Undeliverable or Returned Parcels

If a parcel is returned to us because:

  • the address was incorrect,

  • the parcel was unclaimed,

  • delivery was refused,

  • customs fees were not paid, or

  • the order could not be delivered for any other reason,

we may deduct the original shipping cost and return cost from any refund, where permitted by law.

Lost or Delayed Parcels

If your parcel appears delayed or missing, please contact us as soon as possible.

We may ask you to allow a short period for local courier checks before opening an investigation. Claims may require supporting photos or confirmation of the delivery address.

Returns Policy

We want you to shop with confidence at World of Perfumes UK. However, because many of our products are fragrance and beauty items, returns must meet strict hygiene and resale conditions.

Return Window

  • You may request a return within 14 days of receiving your order.

  • Returned items must then be sent back promptly once the return is approved.

Return Conditions

To qualify for a return, items must be:

  • brand new

  • unused

  • unopened

  • fully sealed

  • in their original packaging

  • with all accessories, inserts, outer packaging and free gifts included

If an item has been opened, sprayed, tested, used, damaged after delivery, or is no longer in resalable condition, we cannot replace it and may refuse the return.

Non-Returnable Items

Unless faulty, we cannot accept returns of:

  • opened perfumes or aftershaves

  • opened cosmetics, skincare or haircare products

  • gift sets that have been opened or split apart

  • items damaged through misuse, accident or poor storage

  • personalised items

  • special-order items

  • items marked as non-returnable

Wrong Item Sent

If we send you the wrong item, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and photos of the item received.

In the case of a wrong item being sent:

  • we will arrange the refund first

  • once the returned item is received and inspected, we will send out the original item ordered

  • the returned item must be brand new and sealed

  • if the item has been opened, we cannot replace it

This process helps us protect hygiene, authenticity and stock integrity.

Faulty or Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged, leaking, faulty or incorrect, please contact us promptly.

We may ask for:

  • clear photos of the item

  • photos of the outer box and packaging

  • the order number

  • batch or barcode details where visible

Once inspected, we may offer:

  • a replacement

  • a refund

  • store credit

  • or another remedy required by law

Return Postage

  • If the return is due to our error or a proven fault, we may cover return costs.

  • In other cases, return postage is usually the customer’s responsibility.

  • We recommend using a tracked shipping service for any return.

Refunds
